About Michelle Lewis - Owner & Director
Michelle's hairdressing career began in Mayfair, London, where she learned the skills to become a successful stylist and catered to an exclusive clientele including many famous names. She then worked at the renowned Daniel Galvin salon in London's West End where she specialised in the art of hair colouring.
She says: "Training completed, I ventured out and worked on The Strand in London,where I had an eclectic clientele, loving the freedom of my creativity in such an exciting environment. My next stop was with Vidal Sassoon – the home of the famous Mary Quant bob - before deciding to open my very own Beach Hair."
Michelle and her team understand that walking into a hair or beauty salon can sometimes be a little daunting which is why every effort is made to make clients feel comfortable.
Michelle says: "Being aware of people's insecurities (and often fear) at the salon has been key to our success and our ability to build up a loyal clientele. We try very hard to make your visit to Beach relaxed, fun, informative and non-judgmental…there is no 6 foot glamour model when you arrive at our reception!"
